Understanding that you must not rant, use profanity, etc. Do people use this sight to target people of different beliefs?

According to YA.....I find a certain member’s views offensive. Should I report it?
You should report the person's question, answer, or comment if it violates the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines or Yahoo! Terms of Service. Their opinions may be offensive to you, but please consider how they are in violation. Do you think it contains slurs? Do you think it insults other participants? Do you think it is obscene or illegal? Remember that people are entitled to their opinions, and it’s up to everyone to express them in a respectful manner.

To be responsible, report only those opinions that violate the rules of our community. In fact, you will become less empowered to remove abuse from the site in the future if it is determined that the people you report are not in violation. Read more about community moderation. (Unfortunately, this is not followed.)

Atheists make crude provocative comments about Christians, they speak blasphemies, and sexually offensive comments about Jesus Christ, and regularly take the LORD's Name in vain.

Yahoo gets plenty of complaints, but refuses to do anything. More Christians get deleted then Atheists. They are all intolerant, and hypocritical, and are only here to harass Christians, again, Yahoo don't give a Rats Whisker, they are hypocritical too.

No, there is not freedom of speech on Yahoo, at least not for a Conservative Fundamentalist Christian.

BTW: The same can be said for the Political Site, if your a Conservative Christian Republican.
OM

Edit: I just got a Violation notice. I had answered an openly Anti-Semitic question, in my answer, I simply stated that I agreed with the very good answer given by another user. The Hypocrites who monitor Yahoo thought more of the freedom of speech of a hater of Jewish people than a Christian who said nothing in Violation !

Yes, but as with all things you need to follow the rules. But even then some will delete your Q/A.

Of course making people targets is the favorite past-time on here. Human nature says, if no one is below you then how can you be better then others? People target others to seem as though they, themselves are somehow better then the targeted ones. Same as real life, you know.

Freedom of Speech on R&S? NO. Whatever gave you that idea? There is a certain level of freedom of speech expected, but if something could in anyway be seen as infrenging upon the rights of another, then you are denied, and depending on the perceived severity of the statement targeted.

Well, not to target exactly, because that's not the goal of this site. But yes, there's a freedom of speech, all of us can deliver a a message or an answer without using vulgar words or to offend anybody, if your intention is to just be a: ----- then you are not in the right site.
But you can be as clear as water in your reponse and never had to use a bad word.

Technically, Yahoo has a freedom of speech. Yahoo has a right to remove anything posted on here that it does not want to have. Yahoo is not bound by the Bill of Rights to provide people with a place to exercise their freedom of speech.

No.

Y!A is run by a private company, and is not required to grant you the freedom to run your mouth. Requiring this would be an abbrogation of Yahoo's 1st Ammendment right to put up a website and run it the way they want.

I would say no. People can be mean, insensitive, and just plain crude. But in general, people on Yahoo Answers are respecting of people's own beliefs.

Yes, they do edit... but, for the most part, we do get to each spout our opinions.... and account deletion means nothing in terms of freedom to participate here. It's frustrating, but not prohibitive.

Even the trolls get a say...

No, it's coming to the point where there will be no REAL freedom of speech anywhere. Wait and see.

Good Day!!
