this girl I work with chews her fingers - hangnails and cuticles - and swallows the skin she picks off. It is SO gross. I mean, technically isn't a cannibal one who consumes human flesh and an autocannibal one who eats oneself?

Actually, she could have a disorder called dermatillomania or obsessive skin picking. It is often a result of depression and is usually out of that persons control.
