No. I have known some very kind and loving people who confuse the fundamentalist god of hate and exclusion and irrationality with the Living God of the universe, and can't be persuaded that there is a huge difference.
That's sad. But those are the fruits of a hate-based fundamentalism that calls itself Christian.

You Have a FreeWill.
AnyBody can Choose to do Good IF they want to.'
Up to You.
You DO NOT have to BELIVE in GOD Almighty to Live a Good Life.
Or be as Good as you Want to be.
Resist the Devil and he will Flee---this is in the Bible, it IS a Spiritual Principal AND it Works for ANYBODY.
DIt=================to!
Hope this Helps.

Nope, and nope to your answer. We know there are plenty of good atheists in the world, and plenty of bad faithful.
Even the best, most upstanding person of religion is bad from time to time ...... it's called original sin.

Of course not. Belief in invisible big brother is not required for someone to be morally good.

The things that God expects from us....to be sterling in His view...are not the same as the things our US laws expect from us.
If you do not pay your income tax, it is a crime but it is not a sin.
If you do not pay your tithes to the Lord, it is a sin but it is not a crime.
