If you just met, then it's not love. Actually that is rather creepy. Love takes more than just a meeting to occur. It might be lust, but not love.

I would say NO. He is either "just goofing around "with the word love, which shows that he trivializes the idea of love. Or he is trying to manipulate you.
Many boys (and adult men, for that matter) confuse "love" with sexual attraction. Some males go through their entire lives not knowing what love is. I'm not saying that I know this guy is like that, but his first impression leaves much to be desired.

There are no rule when you're in love. Just try not to be blinded by it. Love can fade if it's the only thing you are relying on.
