Spend most of their time here bashing Christianity, more often than not to believers (Jesus is Christ), rather than seek out the truth for themselves?
Behold I send you out as sheep among wolves...saith the Lord.

I guess I thought I was talking to adults here, I thought all children were at school.
The reason why I said why would non christians spend time bashing is because that's all I see..and I'm a newbie...I knew it was an OPEN site, but I also wouldn't necessarily comment on if you believed in a tree. I would pray for you...quietly. The bible says that GOD's SPIRIT would DRAW them...I don't get why your so angry...because regardless to what you SAY it's the truth! Jesus is Lord. But while your spending all this time venting your anger for the issues that the spirit you serve has placed upon you...use wisdom and see the light and truth!
I don't need to bash YOU!!! My GOD see's you...and blesses me...GLory to GOD, in the highest, amen...

This PUBLIC forum you've stumbled your way into is yahoo answers. The yahoo team must have put something very shiny and christlike on that front page because a lot of Christians seem to find their way in here. I don't know what it is- I just can't help but laugh at some of the stuff they say... you guys provide a really good opportunity for me to remove the drudgery of a long day with an unruly computer on my service desk.
Especially when its taking a 20 minute download and I can't do anything in the meantime till its done.
I'll tell ya what- have your god miracle all my computers fixed and I'll leave answers- would that make you happy?
My simple suggestion- if you're afraid of what we have to say, find another forum. We have every right to say what we want (within guidelines) and will continue to do so- not our fault if you take offense. Your religion isn't the only standpoint here.
I'm lovin' it.

once i was told that many people are like wolves. they fight for table scraps and will turn on one of thier own when they see an injured comrade. this is why you see more wolves than eagles. Eagles (being good people) usually rise above the wolves and are gracefull and elegant. Given the chance a wolf would pull the eagle down and make him into what he fears or does not understand. This might be why this person puts down christians and other religions. he's been taught to hate what he is not or does not do. its scary for people to change so they rely on instinct and habits. If you are an eagle then soar, and just maybe that wolf will envy you and try to change by following your example.
One could say religion devides people and faith brings them together. be patient with those who are not and lead by example. give them a reason to praise you by how you represent your faith

Speaking up about a belief that is different than yours is not bashing. It's expressing an opinion. Some people like to bash, but some Christians like to tell me that I'm a person without morals, ethics, or a reason to live because I don't believe the way they do.

I find it funny that the same people who get all up in arms about people being Christians, think it's cool for someone to be Buddhist, or Hindu, or Wiccan, or Whatever.....
If your gonna believe that spirituality and a higher power are all crap then just be an equal opportunity hater and get on with your life.
I personally don't really have any strong religious beliefs and I like it that way, but I won't bash any group for their beliefs.

I'm a non Christian... a Muslim in fact, and i often wonder why so many Christians spend most of their time on here bashing MY religion, instead of discussing theirs...
It goes both ways you know. Don't just read the posts that say stuff about Christians... sometimes you have to take a look at the Q&A's or YOUR brethren... they aren't always the nicest...

Most of us were Christians at one time. We took a look at history and realized that everything we were taught about Christianity being good for us and for mankind was actually not true. In fact it is very harmful to families, neighborhoods and nations.
Personally, I am trying to make the world a better place for my kids, by trying to point out the realities and results of faith based belief systems.
9/11 convinced me that I couldn't sit idle anymore.
EDIT:
Mike P you are being very selective in your reading, if you look at Muslim questions and posts, you will always find an atheist or two pointing out that they believe in fairy tales.

It is disheartening, Sis Cochran. Don't fret. I really try not to argue religion with anyone and I AM a Christian. I believe what I believe and i share it with anyone who will listen. But even in that, I have decided that people will believe what they wish (each man's perception is his reality...and it's truth to them)

Your question is based on a faulty premise. What makes you think we haven't sought the truth? Just because we came to a different conclusion does not mean we are ignorant, lazy, or disinterested in life's truths. We simply found different answers than you.

Finally someone called them out..... im not generalizing, but i would say 95% of atheists spend their time on here either making fun of Jesus or bashing Christianity, but never do i find an Athesit saying bad things about Muhammad or Bhudda???
Something to ponder.
Great question!

Seems to me I see just as many Atheist bashers as Christian bashers here.
The question of where we are in the universe and why we are here is pretty universal - whether or not you believe in some over-riding entity.
Both people have equal right to the concept of religion and spirituality.
