Will the antichrist be able to defeat the US military? If so how will it happen? If he takes control will the military know it is being led by him? Will they be tricked into thinking he is a noble person?

This is only for people that believe heavily in scripture; How will the antichrist and his army compare to the USA army. Does the USA army stand a chance in defeating him head on?

And please far left loons save me from having to hear you say "Bush is the atichrist" as it is so predictable.

Please give me a very serious answer.

I don't. John of Patmos was a Greek who wrote the Apocalypse book of the Bible. The trouble is that a whole lot of English-speaking folks from the Bible Belt in America don't realize that "apocalypse" doesn't mean some sort of terrible event. It means "revelation" in Greek. And that book of the Bible, along with the others, was put down in writing many years after the death of Christ. The only parts of the New Testament that are written contemporaneously are the Epistles.
Because John's revelation was written in Greek, there's been a lot of stuff lost in translation. One is the famed "Armageddon". It's really a reference to Megedo, a place north of Jerusalem which was the site of the first battle ever recorded in history. That little town has been invaded more times over the centuries than any other place on earth.
If John of Patmos was really referring to an "Antichrist" it was probably a reference to the Emperor of Rome and was meant as a personal perjorative, not a prediction of a person in the future.
I don't believe heavily in scripture because, as stated earlier, most of it was written well after Jesus' death and there's too much interpretation being done by people who couldn't find most of the places mentioned in those scriptures on the map. My belief is really a condensation of the message that Jesus brought:
"You are loved. You are forgiven. You are saved".

well I belive the antichrist is some one in the middle east, could be in Iran. To defeat the antichrist will take two very powerfull countrys to beat him. The Antichrist will use Isalm to have all his army try to beat the USA from with in its own ranks and beat down the USA like Rome. Perhaps if Russia or china join forces with the USA together The antichrist will be defeated.

It is possible the U.S. military will SUPPORT the anti-christ, though considering how things are right now, it seems more likely that if this happened in the next hundred years that the U.S. and 2 allies would probably be the 3 nations to challenge him and get destroyed by the rest of the world.

The Anti-Christ will be a very popular figure, loved by almost everyone.

The only one to beat the antichrist will be God him self. The army of Jamaica will defeat him if God gives them the power. After all look at David and Goliath

Read revelations very carefully because it points out that the antichrist will come out of Europe. Europe has already began to form a "union" where they use the same monetary system. But like the guy above me said "believers will be gone anyway." I just pitty everyone who is fullish enough to turn Christ down now.

I do believe in the "antichrist" and those who do know he will be defeated.

The good news the believers will be out of there before they face him.
