Not this atheist. I'd much prefer someone else raise them. I'd even go so far as to say I'd rather someone else give birth to them. The most I'd ever be willing to do is donate an egg, so long as it doesn't hurt.

Why ever not? Each parent has the right to teach their child what they deem is right. Parents that teach their children only One side of the story though, are not preparing them to handle this diverse world. That goes for both religious And atheist parents. We haven't got the whole Truth, no matter what anyone says. Let the children weigh and contemplate on both sides of an argument, and when they grow up they can choose. Nobody likes being forced to believe in something.

First, I want to say atheist are willingly blind, because the bible says "doesn't nature itself tell you that there is a God." Having said that, my answer is yes, atheist should be allowed to raise their children in the manner to which they see fit. If you think they shouldn't be allowed to rear their children, then will Baptist or any other religion be next in not being allowed to rear their children?
That's why we have the separation of church and state.

What the...! So you say that somebody should not be able to raise their own children, because they don't believe the same as you?
Does anybody else find this a bit narcisstic, or what?
