Its very interesting to see that Christians are all sure they understand the human race perfectly. There are thousands of boiled missionaries that found out the hard way, that this just isn't he case.

Cultures and human behavior are incredibly complicated things, there is no way any one person could understand it well.

It is sad to see that their belief system is so pessimistic about humans. 'Humans are sinful, bad, lost souls'. In my experience, I have found a majority of the people I interact with to be friendly and helpful to others. There are bad people, but they are in the minority, not the majority. Why would anyone adopt a belief system that was so negative about them and the future?

I would rate my understanding of humanity a 10. I understand it all to well. And I find that humanity is fascinating, even with all its ups and downs. The human race suffers from extremes. And an acute disorder of "its all about me".

10 Babies learn the way of man. Unbelief and distrust n their fellow man. When you acknowledge that fear is natural and in the heart of man over time you learn hold to your own pretty much. That is part of the sin nature within you.

Only perfect love casts out all fear. And will share it's love and warmth no matter what kind of hateful situation is in the world. But that takes God's love and not man's love.

Man's love can't get beyond self or their won. God's love includes everyone.

Atheist: 8.

We're superstitious, selfish and group-oriented. Most of us don't think critically. We give in to peer pressure and exhibit mob mentality. We are naturally against members of other groups.
