I have been using apple cider vinegar on my wart for about 3 weeks already. Everytime it turns black i stop putting it on and cut off the scab, but surprisingly underneath the scab the wart is still alive and growing!?!? I am not sure what the problem is? can someone help me!?

I have never heard of using vinegar of any kind to remove a wart. Go to Wal-Mart and get some Wartner freezing wart remover. It will cost in the neighborhood of $16.00 but let me tell you it is worth every penny. I had a stubborn wart that I tried to remove with the regular paint on wart remover, no luck what so ever. Used the Wartner and it was gone, never to return within 10 days.

This may sound really weird to you, but I know a way to get rid of that wart for good (my ex is a nurse).

Buy duct tape...cut a piece to fit over the wart...every 3 days replace the duct tape with a fresh piece and you'll see within a week to ten days that the duct tape will remove the wart from the root and 9 times out of 10, the wart never returns. Give it a try, ok? Let me know how you are coming along.

Good Luck!

You should be using White Vinegar - it has stronger acids than the apple cider. The red vinegar has more sugars which is probably slowing the healing process. Be sure to soak your hand 3 or more times a day to get rid of it an don't pick the scab it will fall off naturally when the wart is healed. Good Luck!

You have to kill the root as well as the outside.
To do that you sometimes need to go beyond home remedies - and see your doctor.
Over the counter remedies don't always work well either, and because you have to treat the wart for 6 weeks or so with it it ends up costing too much.
Ask your doctor to freeze it off. It hurts like heck, but it works by killing the root fast - if you don't kill the root the wart will grow back every time.
Good luck

This may sound weird but you need to go buy Tagamet HB 200 strength pills that are for stomach acid. My son had about 30 warts on his hand, (he was about 14 years old then) and we tried all sorts of home remedies. I took him to the doctor and believe it or not she told us that it is not a proving fact for the F.D.A. yet, but that for me to go buy some and use it as directed on the box. I did and he took it every day for about 3 weeks and they disappeared. Now we have told other people about this mystery and it usually always works. Saved us time and money of having them removed and no scars either.. Remember though, it has to be Tagamet anti-acid pills, not any other brands or kinds of anti-acids.. Something in the drug helps the wart virus to disappear in about 3-6 weeks. Hope it works for you. Best of luck.

You need to get a blister beatle and squeze it on your wart. This will make a blister that will kill the wart and not leave a scar. Search google for blister beatle for pics so you can identify one. Or you can go to the store and buy the same stuff in a bottle called "wart remover"!
