My fiance's aunt wants to get us plane tickets for our honeymoon as a wedding gift. It is so thoughtful!! There is a problem we can't decide where to go she was thinking about london but after hearing from some people on here it does not sound like the right choice. I have never been on a plane and i have only left the state of pa 6 times and to no where special on the other hand my fiance has gone to a ton of places. I want something romantac and fun but also kind of cheap we thought about the islands but i don't like to go in the ocean and there is not much to do there aspecialy since we don't drink. I am really having a hard time trying to find somewhere to go please help. Also we both like historical places more him then me i want to see things you can't see in PA.

Why don't you go to a Sandals resort. It is all inclusive, so it is pretty cheap. And they have pools, so you don't even have to go in the ocean, all though the Caribbean is alot better of an ocean than some of the places close to PA (like NJ, or Va)

Or you could do a cruise, they have from 3 day to 2 week cruises. They have a cruise to Greece, and Alaska, so there will be sight seeing as well. Plus with a cruise it is also inclusive. The only things you have to pay for is Soda(since you do drink), but they have ice tea, and fruit punch, that is included. And you can fly right in to Florida, so the plane ride isn't that long either. Well congrats, and good luck!!!

You don't have to leave the country to see things that aren't in PA.
Depending upon time of year, here are some things you might enjoy:
New England - New Hampshire/Vermont/Maine are beautiful. Massachusetts is also nice (Salem/ Boston/ Plymouth are very historic).
Arizona - Phoenix, Sedona, Grand Canyon. No beaches here! If you like Native American stuff, this can be TONS of fun. Alot of archaeology-type stuff.
Savannah, Georgia - historic setting, great architechture.
Virginia - Williamsburg is really neat.

Good Luck!

Spain, Paris, Australia, Portugal, Canada - Toronto, Montreal... Nova Scotia, Washington DC - lots of history there!... Texas - The Alamo and Riverwalk in San Antonio are nice... Disney World in Orlando, Florida... Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Niagra Falls, New Orleans, Portland, Oregon... Arizona, California...

Duh.. I agree with Nova... I'm from Maine, that would be a good place to honeymoon. I mean, who doesn't love great lobster? Plus, if you want to go there I could give you some great tips. :) My Dad and stepmom went to the Poconos, but I'm sure you'd already thought of that. :)

Uhh well it sounds like you just don't like to have fun. The islands are amazing whether you drink or not. If you want to stay in the states, theres options. But if your not too worried about price you could go to Italy or something, there you would drink, but not
booze. They have good wine and you end up drinking alot. Italy is great though.

If you do not have a pass port you will have to travel in the states and US Purta Rico. That should help narrow it done a little
Try going to Mt Rushmore or to see Niagara Falls

what time of year???

Quebec in Canada is going to be different and historical... England with all its castles is great - rent a car and go in the country staying at B&B's - I have been to England twice and loved it.. but I only spent a short time in London.

it depends on how much time away you can afford - taking 1 day to fly to Europe vs a few hours to fly to Canada...
