so you truely believe that the flood never happened?? that noahs ark and all that is a myth? cuz thats what your saying....
(Genesis 7:4).
4 For in just seven days more I am making it rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will wipe every existing thing that I have made off the surface of the ground.”
are you saying that he is saying.. that this flood wont come for 7000 years and than the worlds end will come. ???
what about the scritptures within the same chapter that talk about the flood.. and the waters
Genesis 8:3 And the waters began receding from off the earth, progressively receding; and at the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters were lacking. 4 And in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ar´a·rat. 5 And the waters kept on progressively lessening until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.
or even more importantly what about the scritupre that says a flood would never wipe out all flesh again.
Genesis 9:15 And I shall certainly remember my covenant which is between me and YOU and every living soul among all flesh; and no more will the waters become a deluge to bring all flesh to ruin.
god himself says 'no more will the waters become a deluge to bring all flesh to ruin'
so... do you think god is a liar? or do you only believe in what a part of what the bible says.
also... if you believe that everytime the bible speaks of a day it is 1000 years.. than how do you explain the 40 days and 40 nights?

Your reading of scripture is correct in that the Prophecies of daniel and other end time prophecies work together to point towards a time frame. However, No man knows the day nor the hour, not even the angels in heaven. According to scripture, some things have to happen before the new heaven and new earth comes. 1)The rapture of the Church 2)the 3.5 years of tribulation and the 3.5 years of Great tribulation 3)The milinial(1000) year reign of Christ. So from the point of the rapture, there will be at least 10007 years before the actual "End". Date setting has been popular thru out this dispensation, people adding the dates and subtacting the 1 and carring over this and that and NO one has been right yet. The truth is we are to be watching, and yes we can know the season, but as to the day, month, year we are not privy to that. It could come today, tommorow or not for a hundred years and thats fine with me.
The most important thing is are you ready when it does come? If so, don't worry about when it's gonna happen, know that you are in the season and be watchful.

Read a few verses on first:
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night
"Thief in the night" references the idea no one knows. Now unless you are smarter that Jesus Himself, your knowledge here cannot be correct (Matthew 24:44 "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect)
Secondly, you are wrong that people have not "figures it out" before. If you look at the "Book of Barnabas", you will find this same idea 1700 years ago. They calculated 1000 = 1 day, then by 7 days of creation figured the last 1000 years was about to come (the Jews in the time of Christ and after belived the world to be 6000 years old). You just changed the date of creation.

Interesting. Here one you may find interesting. Using the 1000 years. Go to Revelation 8:1, here it speaks of silence in Heaven for "about" a half hour. This about 20.8 years. WW I ended on November 1918 and WW II started around September 1939. 20.8 years? I enjoy playing with the math. The number you getting will coincide with the 2012 date we hear about. Have you figured the math of Daniel 9:25-26? The decree is issued in Ezra 7:11-14 etc. I used Nehemiah 2:2:1-8 etc. This works out to be about 483 years. Brings us to about when Jesus entered Jerusalem on the Donkey.
Asteroid 2004 MN4 not get here until Friday 13, 2029. Another interesting thing to consider.

Uh, don't think so Maurice. Better go back and read Genesis again. It says the trees. grass, and fruit trees were created on the 3rd day....but the Sun and moon were created on the 4th day. If your theory were correct, the grass and trees, etc, would have been here a thousand years before the sun..... not possible. Nope; it means what it says...God created the entire creation in six literal days! He spoke it into existence! " By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. For He spake and it was done; He commanded and it stood fast". - Psalms "For in six days the Lord created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and ALL that is in them..." Exodus 20:11

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
There were at many times "smart ones" who suddenly discovered in the Bible the time of Christs Second Coming. You can ask JS about that. You can see that all of those times came by and Earth is still here.
Matthew 24:43
But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
We won't know the day. Everyone will be like the owner of the house.

YOU..... Make FALSE ASSUMPTIONS..... about the End of the World...... AS PREACHERS HAVE DONE OVER THE LAST 100-YEARS!
Do you NOT Remember.... perhaps you were Not Old Enough.... that in the Early 70's.... a Cult.... SOLD ALL THEIR POSSESSIONS... and stood on a Mountain in Georgia..... WAITING FOR THE END?
Or Even the Late..... JERRY FARWELL.... Predicted the End.... in the 70's... within 10-years!
(Matthew 25:13) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Thanks for Asking ! RR

How do you know that the end is 2011, when the Bible says that Jesus don't een know.
Matt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

I have spent time with people who made a day seem like a thousand years. How tedious they were.
Let's start with the Bible, shall we? Is there any particular reason that we should believe that the Bible is anything other than a collection of myths? Is there any particular reason for us to believe any of the claims set out in the Bible?

Your exegesis is unwarranted. Hundreds of years ago, from the 1st century on, Christians recognized what a "simile" is, "A figure of speech that expresses a resemblance between things of different kinds," such as "faith as a grain of mustard seed" (Mt. 17:20), "let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican" (Mt. 18:11), " I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings" (Mt. 23:37). "For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country (Mat 25:14), "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them" (Acts 2:3), "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night" (2 Pet 3:10).
No, faith is not a mustard seed, nor is Jesus a hen(!), nor did actual fire sit on the disciple heads, nor is the Day of the Lord a thief, nor is one day with the Lord necessarily a 1,000 years.
But other signs indicates we are close to the time of consummation.
(Isa 53:6-7) "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. {7} He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth."
(Acts 3:19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"
