I already faced that situation.
I did NOT grow up in any kind of a "Christian" home. In fact, we were taught that Jesus was a liar, possibly a lunatic, but above all, very dead.
In my early to mid 20's, I reached an all-time low in my life, and when someone asked me if he could pray for me, even though I didn't like the idea, I figured it wouldn't make any difference, since Jesus was dead, anyway.
Well, the thing is, he prayed, and God answered! I had an encounter with Jesus Christ that turned my whole life around and I've NEVER been the same since! The entire "story" of what happened is too long to include here, but suffice it to say that the Lord gave me a Revelation that Jesus truly IS the Son of God, and Jesus gave me a new start on life. I literally FELT forgiveness flowing through my body along with the power of God.
Like I said, I've never been the same since that fateful day when Bryan prayed for me and I met Jesus!
It's amazing how, once you actually meet Someone, you can no longer deny His existence!
So, in answer to your question, it already happened - I found out I was wrong and had a whole life-changing experience as a result.

I have a lot of foundation for my beliefs. They aren't just founded on things I learned as I was growing up (although I wouldn't be surprised if there were some of those unfounded things in me still, but I've actually studied a lot as I grew up to check those things). I would encourage everyone to take time to KNOW what they believe and not go through life going from one belief to the next. Find the truth. Not A truth. THE truth.

If I found out that my beliefs were all wrong, Id be in shock, for a while.
Then Id get over it and try to find what the truth was in the first place.

Then I would be proud of the life I lived and the example I gave my children and others. But what if YOU found out that everything I believe was RIGHT...... do you really want to go there? :o)

Yes I would want to know. But I would only believe it if God himself told me. I know God is real. I have seen the Holy Spirit. I would not believe any scientist or any so called prophet.

If everything I believed was wrong, I'm not going to be aware of that fact when the time would otherwise be here. Doesn't keep me up late, though.

"If you found out that everything you believed in was wrong ?" - If you mean the existence of God, I did find that God doesn't exist. I dropped my beliefs and now am an atheist. Jesus said one thing that is correct. "You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free." It certainly did.

I sure as hell would...no pun intended, since I've come to know that hell in the sense I'd always been taught doesn't exist.
i'd want to know, but I think I'm a different kind of animal than most people. People want to cling to their beliefs and never test them for fear that they could find out that it was wrong..
it's hard to stop believing in heaven after having prayed so hard that my family members who had passed before me went there, but in the end it is all the same. they are not here. but it's the thought of those people that kept me believing for so long in the first place...
if you are going to stop believing in god, replace it with science. you can't stop believing in something and replace it with nothing... yeah i don't believe in santa claus anymore, but now it's my mother eating the cookies and drinking the milk
