It depends on why you were fired. If you were fired because you weren't doing the job well enough, then yes. If you were fired for misconduct, no. Misconduct would be breaking work rules.

It depends on why you were fired. You can file for it and may get it, but usually you get fired because you suck, not becuase your employer is a jerk.
