We have students taking an exam and the other professors are loud and carry their conversations out in the hall ways.

They are loud and I dont think they realize that people can not concentrate with them carrying on.

I am the only office staff here. I find sometimes I can not concentrate they mingle and talk about work issues very loudly and close to my desk area.

I do not ,know how to ask somone in a higher position to be quiet.
I have tried, they talk when I am on the phone very loud. And I have looked at them like they are crazy and rude.

Please take into consideration the level of your voices in the hallways. It has been brought to my attention that the noise and conversation is very distracting to students taking exams and people on the telephone. Thank you for your consideration in this matter

All i'm able to say is that there is not any ascertain that a sparkling prevalent practitioner might want to come on time to work out you. this happens in all medical doctors workplace no matter if or not they are kin prepare, im or experts. it would want to no longer be this type, yet they are continually overdue because they double e book. 2 sufferers are coming in together so if one affected human being does no longer educate up, the overall practitioner's workplace receives reimbursed for there time from the different one. Now you've undesirable kin with this record and workplace crew, u will be very uncomfortable for something of the 13 weeks that you've left. i'd propose u to locate yet another record, yet with out expectation of being considered on time.

Here is one of the great lessons I've learned about working in an environment with people in higher positions: They don't really care. Not because they don't care about you, but they often feel that they've earned the privilege of being able to behave how they wish and they expect a certain level of respect from those in lower positions.

There are some rare gems who are different, but they are rare indeed!

Chances are, there's little you can do except perhaps ask your manager for a quieter place to work.

So who is your direct boss? Yougo to your boss and explain the problem to them. If they are worth anything, theywill simply send out an email to all staff telling them to mind the excessive noise in your area.
Bottom line is it sounds like your deskis in a common area, if that's the case and they simply ignore or forget your requests for quiet, what are you going to do next... write them up? Some jobs just come with certain annoyances you have to get over or get another job.

Get up and close the door. Smile at them when you do it.
