They do offer some good programming. We don't watch it constantly, but hubby tapes a few shows each week.

About everything else is available on tv, so why not a
show for Christians? Watch the ones you like, and turn
off the ones you don't (just like regular tv progams). I
never watch Video I, BTE, Ballet, Boxing, Violent Shows,
Kid's Shows, Half-hour infomercials, etc. So, I don't
complain about them as other people like them. I turn
them off and watch the ones I like which include TBN,
Weather, Fox, Rachel Ray, Discovery, CMT, Sports,
dancing with stars, local programs, Regis, food channel,
C-span, QVC, CNN, CNBC, and the Travel Channel.

isn't that an oxymoron? what I have seen on TBN is the "left behind " theology camp, touch your TV and be healed, $ Jesus prayer cloth, or a Vegas style gospel sing.....
after seeing Jan Crouch with PINK hair and the tons of make up... that is a scary sight!!
yeah, that is going to tell the world about the love of God.....
if a person is searching for spiritual food on TBN they will starve to death....
Daystar and Angel One are just as "Left Behind" as TBN.......
I am not that strong of a Bible scholar, the BS theology is simply too sad to listen to.

I'm a Christian and I absolutely cannot stand it. A couple months back I watched about an hour reptrospective. What caught my attention was the wrestler Sting talking about his conversion. Then Mr. T, then Diane Cannon, then Dog the Bounty Hunter, then Kirk Cameron, then MC Hammer, then Gary Busey. (Apparently God likes to name drop from the B list.)
If they got hosts who didn't look so scary and furniture that didn't make me worry that every can of gold spraypaint had suddenly gone missing, maybe I'd take it a littlwe more seriously. As is, it's a big embrassment.

You have all these other secular television stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and dozens of Cable/Satellite T.V. Stations.
If You don't like the Christian T.V. Stations, (And TBN is not the only one we have, There is Angel One, and Daystar)
Then Do what is told to us when some of us complain about all the sex and Violence in the secular stations, "Don't watch them, Change the channel"
This is the right of Free speech, They are Privately Funded and financed by ourselves, and we have the right.

Spice issues up? that may not a hollywood production, they are ministering the be attentive to God: no longer for guy's entertainment, yet for the salvation of their souls. they are doing what God referred to as them to do, and that they do no longer look to be in charge to guy, yet God, till now whom they'll provide an account. With that suggested, i could desire to work out a Christian-based sitcom, yet i could desire to work out it on time-honored television programming quite of Christian television, the place secular people watch.

TBN.... Is NOT.... Christian in the BIBLICAL sense of the Word!
The TERM is Only a Religious OR... Cultural ONE.... when used as a Preface for Such THINGS....!
Just like.... Christian Bar.... Christian Car.... Etc.
There ARE PHONIES.... on that NETWORK..... as well as some Good Preachers .... WHO TELL THE TRUTH!
Perhaps YOU.... never saw how.... SATAN.... comes into the Work of the LORD?
(2Corinthians 11:13-14-15) For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
(2Co 11:14) Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?
(2Co 11:15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.
Thanks for Asking ! RR

I don't have much faith in television Evangelist. Because it seems they are more interested in getting money than getting the gospel out to a lost and dieing world. But I feel that any organization who is only about the money is not doing right. It is just truly sad how they take advantage of poor older folks and the mentally challenged.

Nasty money-grubbing bigotted bastards making money from the stupid and gullible.
Some of the preachers seem insane.
Is Benny Hinn on that channel? The man is evil.
Rod Parsley "burning debts for Jesus"?
[I do not watch this channel, but I have viewed it for the experience]

If that one has the Tammy Faye clone (Jan Crouch), I watch when she plays with puppets and cries. It's hysterical. I especially love all of the gold furniture and the thrones they sit on while begging for donations.
Thumbs down? How Christian of you. What would Jesus do?
