First … do you believe that Police Officers that kill unarmed people should be put to death?
Second … How many of our dead Police Officers are killed because of their abuse of power and regular people see no way to get justice otherwise?
Now, I know that we are a nation of laws governed by laws. But I can clearly see that there are tactics used against us , that if practiced by us , would be considered despicable and unlawful .
ONLY ONE CASE IN POINT … It takes only 9 pounds of pressure to crush the wind pipe and cause death and yet , 225 pound Police officers are taught to drop their knee on unarmed men and women’s neck once they have them on the ground .

Police officers being killed is not because they "abuse their power" !! That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard!! People kill police officers because they have no conscience and don't care who gets in their way. Police kill because they have no choice. Like I have said before, if it came down to a police officer getting killed by a worthless criminal or a worthless criminal getting killed by the police, I'm on the cops side. Obviously the world is a better place without this person. Imagine if the cops didn't kill the person that was brandishing a gun or other weapon, this could be the same person that robs, rapes, or kills one of your family members. Think about that for a minute before you start defending the worthless pieces of crap that kill the men and women who go out there to protect and serve law abiding citizens. Ooooh! Now you got me fired up! : (

Um.. you can't stereotype all cops from the actions of others. You wouldn't want people to think you should be put to death just because a few people with the same color hair or eyes as you killed some people. That's ridiculous.
A common police officer is called a PEACE OFFICER. Why? Because they keep the PEACE.
Here's just a scenerio for you.. You get home from work this afternoon, and there's a man in the house with a gun. You manage to get ahold of your phone and call 911. The cops come and shoot the guy threatening your life.
You would be thankful. So.. my point.. I'm tired of all these POLICE OFFICER bashing questions, when the majority of them choose to do their job everyday to keep us safe. :)

What I think is that cops in many different situation need to show more restrained then they normally do.
Example,
Recently a 18year old young man, who was consider mentally disturbed was shot and killed by 5 cops. The young man was running towards them while at the same time he was reaching for something in his waist, it turned out to be a hair brush. It took between 5 cops and 20 shots to kill him, 8 rounds hit the young man. Is difficult to use better judgment or are these cops trigger happy. If you ask me the shooting was dirty on the part of the cops. It should have taken one shot at his legs to control the situation and confirm if this kid had a gun. If this kid had a gun he would had been shooting at them not running towards them. This is clearly abuse of power by the police and justification to have something to brag about back in the station house.

I don't think they should be put to death. Many cases show total idiots killing guys with pears, but not all cops are like that. It's tough on the streets, and most cops are really looking out for themselves and their families.
About the knee thing, they aren't putting down their weight. They are just blocking the potential criminal from getting up

Police officers who break the law should be punished accordingly.
However, I defy you to produce one single shred of evidence that police officers anywhere in the United States are taught to "drop their knee on unarmed men and women's necks" once they are on the ground.
You don't want honest debate, you want to make inflamitory statements against men and women who risk their lives for you on a daily basis.

I dont think they should be put do death, I think if they feel the need to kill then they should be sent to Iraq, Let them work there! maybe it will even save one of our soldiers lives!
