Yes,I am leaving to go to another state sometime towards the end of december,can I still file my taxes and just wait to have the money put into my account.

Your filing status is determined by your situation as of December 31. So you have to submit your return after December 31.

But you can move and then file, there is not a problem with that.

You don't have to still live in the state to file taxes there. After you get all your tax forms in January or February, do your taxes and mail them back to the state where you lived in 2007.

Be sure to set up a forwarding address with the post office so that your tax forms reach you at your new address.

No, you wouldn't have the proper paperwork yet like W-2's. And federal forms and some state forms are not available yet, and neither is accepting returns yet.

You can file as early as you want. Of course you can't file until you have all your W2's, 1099's and any other info you might need.
