If you have the time and energy, you could set up your own proxy. Build a linux server, and put squid on it. You will need to ensure you can get in from the outside through your modem/router - you may need port forwarding.
This will work really well if your on a dynamic ip - especially if it changes a lot, say daily. just note down your IP before you go to school, and if it gets blocked, when your at home reset your modem (unplug it, plug it back in), it will get a new ip and your in business the next day.
Have fun, it may be trick to set up.

I work for the public school system, and I used to use proxy servers. But they caught on to that and blocked it too. So now I have to wait until I get home to check my fantasy football league...P.S. mornings... loosen up a little, will ya...

proxying around school securities is a federal charge and could be charged feloniously, because the school is part of the government and proxying is breaching government securities. some kids got busted for that last year. so be careful.

if it doesn't have anything to do with their school work, then it should be blocked.kids go to school to get an education, not to play on the computer.i agree that the computers have a place in todays schools, however,if they are just getting on there to chat wuith their freinds on "my space" or "you tube" or any place like that,or anything other than school work, they have no business on the computer at school.

First go to your internet browser and then go tools and click the internet option. Once there, go to privacy and move the slider to the bottom most. That should do the trick.
