I bet it looks nice. I would love a granite back splash. Wallpaper? I wouldn't.

I don't recommend it. I guess if you buy sturdy wallpaper it won't look so bad but your best best is to get someone to maybe tint the granite another color to suit you, or have it removed since you already don't like it.

If it will hold the mastic, you could have ceramic tile installed over it. Isn't granite all the rage now or has that passed? What will be the new vogue kitchen surface material? Concrete? Soapstone?

Granite kinda cold I'd suggest painting over it a nuetral color? different than rest of Kitchen like Brown or green??

just remove it and resurface your back splash. the granite might come in handy somewhere else in your home or you might find someone else who would be glad to make use of it.
