True story:
While chaperoning a tournament with my daughter's team, my husband was given a left-over Halloween sucker from one of the girls. While he was enjoying his treat, one of the girls noticed that an image was beginning to emerge and shouted, "The Virgin Mary! She's in his lolli!".
We all gathered round in complete fascination at what was transpiring before our very eyes! Of course, my husband, a lapsed Catholic, was a bit freaked out, but just as fascinated as the rest of us, so he worked even harder on that sucker to get to the chewy Mary center that awaited him. With every lick, her image became clearer and the promise of meeting this tiny Virgin more promising.
After great effort from my husband and cheers from the rest of us, he neared the center of this holy treat and exclaimed, "LOOK! (lick, lick, lick) There she is! (lick, lick) It's HER! (lick, lick) The Virgin.........(pause)......... uh.........".
Nope.
