I went to You Tube a few days ago and was told that I needed to update my Flash Player. Fine. So I followed all the relevant instructions, except that where it said to turn off other programs, I didn't. It didn't load.
So I went back and turned off all the other programs and tried again. It said first I had to uninstall my old one. I did.
Now it still won't install, and I can't watch You Tube or anything else that requires Flash. What should I do?

I tried the "off-line" download and that didn't work either. If it's my security stuff, how do I change it?

All Hail the Emperor! It worked!!! It was the Shockwave enabled that did it. Now should I leave it like that or turn it back off?

Do a manual download of the flasher installer.

Other thing could be if you use IE you might have the program disabled:
In internet options go to:
1 - 'Programs' tab
2 - click on 'Manage Add-ons'
3 - Look for 'Shockwave Flash Object'
4 - Make sure it is in the 'Enabled' state

i can download just with the torrent..
I can't understand why i can't download anything from internet... exactly how i can't download the flash player...
i can't download any program.. only with torrent..

i thought that i had some weird viruses so i reinstalled my windows but nothing changed.. :( is driving me crazy...

download a new flash player at www.download.com
then install and replace it over.

Try this link, it would save a offline installation of flash player.
Before installing go to add/remove programs in control panel and un-install the installed flash player and then restart the system and then install this one
