Hypnosis and Religion?

Do you know who Darren Brown is?

Hes a well known psychological illusionist.

Hes famous for a couple of videos on You Tube and among these theres a program of him attempting to convert atheists into the true path of God. AND succeeding!!

The same could probably be done the other way around.

Now am not an atheist, but I was wondering: If peoples beliefs are so malleable and easily changed, what are they good for?

Actually its Derren. He is a master at demonstrating the human mind's ability to be open to suggestion.He has proved how easy it is to hold a convincing seance,and even convinced people to rob a security van,all through the power of suggestion.

Very Interesting.

The Word of GOD (Jesus) in the New Testament says to "Try the Spirits and make Sure their of GOD" (the Real GOD Almighty, not a demon Faking it!)

The New Testament says that "If it were POSSIBLE Even the Very Elect (Born-Agains) would be DECIEVED.

I warn all Atheist not to be Taken in by this Stuff.
I do not Think Darren Brown is "of GOD Almighty".

AnyBody can say the word "God".
That dosent' Mean that person IS OF GOD Almighty (Jesus Christ, Risen from the Dead).

Now, Human Beings can be Affected in their Souls by Angels (GODly Angels-Good Angels) and satan's angels (satans crew--Bad angels).

The Soul puts Feelings into your Body. The Angels, angels can Affect these Feelings in your Body by Affecting your "Soul"--- for Good or Evil respectively.

Yes, satans crew can make you feel some somewhat good feelings, and make you Think it's god (not The GOD) and Decieve you.
That is what satan does best, Decieve.

Derren Brown is a mentalist. Which is not true hypnosis.

Hypnosis cannot make anyone do anything that they are not already willing to do.

Look up mentalism online.

at some point they're good for your own sense of peace and acceptance..

so whether you believe in god or not, depending on how you've been influenced, ultimately, if that conviction makes you happy, then that's what it's good for..

interesting videos.. a bit freaky.. they raise a couple of questions;

How long do these effects last? the subconscious in itself is constantly analyzing and changing..

Could he do the opposite with people who believe?

Belief is a chemical reaction, just like love is suposed to be.

In fact, I heard somewhere that, when as an adult you join a cult, you do it because the feeling is symilar to the feeling of falling in love. Watching my coleague who converted to mormons, I have to agree
