Your stomach acid could eat away the outside of the battery causing it to leak inside of you which is definately not good since your supposed to go the hospital if you even make too much contact with the battery acid due to it being absorbed through the skin....

WOW OK, I don't blame you for being poorly educated... but letme put it this way friend: batteries have certain material inside that cause cancer if you have contact with it, by contact i mean holding it in your hand... now imagine swallowing it!... is it clear now?.. of course thats what could happen if you don't choke to death trying to get it down to your stomach...
