Because he won the Presidential election and he is smarter than you and me put together. Why don't you run for President if you think you are so smart? If you were in another Country and said half the stuff about your leader that you say about our USA President, you would all be executed without a trial. Show some respect for your Country and it's leader or say nothing at all !!! You are all ignorant who call him names. I can't believe the disrespect that you show for MY COUNTRY AND MY PRESIDENT !!!

Because he won a majority of the Electoral College vote in both elections.

Note: If Al Gore had won his home state of Tennessee, then Florida would have been a moot point. Gore would have had enough electoral votes to win and not have needed Florida. The vote count was close or closer in other states, but the electoral votes at stake in those states were too small for Gore to win. He needed Florida. If Gore had only needed 4 or 5 votes, we would have seen the same fight only in another state.

Why do Liberals assume that the only way they could possibly lose an election is if the other side cheats? And if the outcome is not what they want, then the rules that have been in place, and have worked, for over 225 years, must be changed?

So why did Al Gore fail to carry his home state? The state that has had a couple of generations of Gores in the Senate? (Dynasty?) The state that Gore, as Vice President, was in a unique position to do big things for. Why did they not vote for him?

How come Bill Clinton won 2 elections with less than 50% of the popular vote in each? (Psst, Electoral College). I guess when it works in your favor, sweeet. If not, then it's obviously flawed and outdated and should be changed. But then, if they changed it to require over 50% of the popular vote, then there would have had to been a runoff between the 2 top candidates. With out a 3rd party candidate splitting the vote, Clinton would have lost to Bush Sr.

Maybe if Liberals actually read and studied the Constitution along with the writings of the men who wrote it, they wouldn't trip over their cranks so much.

His father and GOP goons rigged the 2000 election.
I would say Bush is president thanks to a non military right wing NEOCON coup.
Further evidence stems from a partisan poitical vote in favor of Bush by 5 justices on the USSC.

For 2004, I attrribute the election results to Ken Blackwell and Diebold.
There are powerful and wealthy vested interests that used GWB as a means towards their own ends.
Americans are so dumbed down and apathetic that we let it happen.
Bush is just a symptom of a grave illness.
Our nation is so damaged I wonder if it CAN recover.
But tis patriotic to stand up to this administration and hold it accountable.

HE CHEATED. His father's old cronies had a hand in his success to the presidency. Not to mention the fact his brother Jeb Bush was Governor of Florida at the time and the Floridian vote was what landed him in the White House. Electronic voting machines in Florida may have awarded George W. Bush up to 260000 more votes than he should have received. If he's not a cheat then Saddam Hussain was an honest leader as well. Isn't Cheney an old Bush cronie? Oh yeah, he's the real president.
