i once went back to someone who had cheated and decided to come back. thinking it was love that had brought him back i was elated, on cloud nine. however shortly after we went back we were driving down the road and saw his ex girlfriends car parked in front of this bar, his comment was" oh my poor tired heart" than i knew he loved her still, and had not gotten over her, and came back because i obviously was the lesser of the two evils. no i don't think they ever forget, some can control it some can't. i thought he came back because he did not love her as much as me but i was wrong there. he only came back because she hurt him and i didn't.

You never forget the affair. I cheated on my wife 8 years ago. NO, I wish to never see her again. After the affair was over I found out she had done 3 other guys while seeing me and wanting me to leave my home. My wife and I are still together after much reconciliation and I am so glad I did not go with her. The only thing I miss about the other woman is the sex, she could suck a golfball through a waterhose. There was some awesome sex, things my wife will never do. But still, the bottom line is: my wife is a lady, she is a ****/whore. And yes, I was wrong and it was totally my fault.

The emotional bond between two people who have been truly intimate never goes away. The moral ramifications aside, the affair may be just a lust experience or an sexual ,personal attraction that has no future because of prior commitments. The lustful affair is somewhat uncalled for if your married but the attraction can sometimes cultivate itself into a powerful force that is closer to true love, even though unattainable the flesh is truly weak when you start to think of it as love. Love Hurts

Not because you don't forget means that you remember with fondness. If you were in a bad situation you certainly wouldn't pine for what you have "lost."

Gosh, I'd love to see what dirty rotten cheater would have the courage to glorify about their past affairs. Specially if they've been lucky enough to have been given a second chance!

why should you pine secretly for what you have lost, if what you have found is greater and more rewarding than what you lost.

I don't, but my 'meat' does. The heart of my meat pines for adventure wherever it may roam.

It depends on if it was purely sexual or if there was love involved.
