you would say no now, but probably if you were really dying you would. the instinct for self preservation is very strong.

there is that guy who cut off his own leg with a pen knife when it got trapped under a rock and lots of stuff like that. I bet he said he would rather die when he was asked on yahoo answers but in the end he did what he had to do.

Nobody knows what they would do in a situation like this until they are actually faced with it.

We revert to our basic survival instincts if we are faced with starvation or thirst.

So I would say, while the thought is revolting, if it's a case of drink the spit or die a horrible death, then I can honestly say I'd drink it.
