a)Pressure P is a product of liquid's density p, acceleration due to gravity and its height above the point of measuremnt h

P=pgh
P=1,000 x 9.81 x 1.5=14700 N/m^2
P=14700 Pascals

b) Force F exerted by the fluid at a point is equal to pressure P times the area A at the point in question.

F=PA
F=14700 x 4=58900 N
