it is possible that people who dont trust you even though you work hard. the reason is the the feeling of the people.
it is undeniable to say that whether the people hate you or not. it is totally depending on the feeling of the people.
if the people hate you very much, no matter how you work harder or be friendly , he still dislikes you. In economics, utility can explain the phenomena. the utility can show the preference of the people's choices. Higher utility level will be chosen. And hating you even without your help gets higher utility level than being friendly with you.
He would still choose distrusting you.
IN conclusion, there is no method to alleivate the problem. And the only way is bearing the pressure yourself or sharing your feeling to your friends

Trust can be hard to gain from some people. I have trust issues because of all the times people have used me. The higher my expectations of someone the bigger the let down. Keep trying and don't pressure the person. See if you can get them to open up with you a little at a time. Time will help the process. If a friend is a good friend they are worth waiting for.

It's not just the current state of the world--it's the state of the world. Trust is a big issue for some people and many have been hurt in the past, so they decide to "protect" themselves by not trusting anyone.
It's not about you--that's the thing you need to realize. Some people are just not capable.

working hard by itself wouldn't suffice.Trust has to be built up gradually and requires a proven record over a period of time.Remember the old saying.'trust begets trust'?

Mistrust is a part of human nature. We don't even have full faith [trust] in our Lord jesus Christ. We always have doubts when things go wrong in our lives.
