It's often such a routine. I wonder if we give them their just due. And reward them for helping us through the rough times. While only wanting to share some of the good times.

To all Pet Owners!! I Slaute you!!

And God Bless each and every one of you!!

Bo I had planned on answering this with a tribute to my two dogs I lost due to illness and old age this past year, and the two I am about to lose due to illness & age!
Instead I offer you this!
Creation
When God had made the earth and sky,
the flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals
the fish, the birds and bees
And when at last He'd finished
not one was quite the same.
He said I'll walk this world of mine
and give each one a name.
And so He travelled far and wide
and everywhere He went,
a little creature followed Him
until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth
and in the Sky and Sea,
the little creature said "Dear Lord,
there's no name left for me."
Kindly the Father said to him
"I've left you to the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you DOG, my friend".

The answer to this question puts me at the 50,000 point mark in Y!A! Thank you for this question!

Yes. and I have learned the power of love that I have for my pet. I had three dogs and I lost two this summer. It has been a joy just me and the one girl but she has been lonely and depressed and you can see it. I didn't want anymore dogs. I just started a new job and life was easy with one well trained healthy girl. But I love her so much and I saw how much she needed a friend so I went to a rescue group and got her a buddy. Now I am cleaning messes off the floor and having to have training sessions and have spent over $500 in vet bills already. I need a blessing.

God bless you too, & the answerers before me. My dogs through the years have been & are my dearest, best friends. And, you're right that perhaps we don't really show how much we really do love & appreciate them. They keep me sane. I'm always loved, unconditionally. They're the spice of my life!
