G. Bush is the president of the USA and as such has the right according to the terms of his office to declare war on any nation that is a threat to the USA. Congress approved his action and the entire matter is leagal. The US Congress is just as much to blame for this war as the president. In my opinion it is the vice President who acted improperly in this entire matter and gave poor advice to the president. Bush is NOT a war criminal.

What is international law?
It seems to me that it is law that only applies to Americans.
Other nations don't worry about it.
It seems that it is another farce, created by our friends in the UN, which we are naive enough to think we are bound by, even at the expense of self preservation.
I think that until we realize that we are making it impossible for ourselves to survive by accepting all the laws that the UN makes to govern us, and only us, and trying to live up to them, even when others don't, we are headed toward a path of self annihilation.
Wake up America. These are not nice people, and they don't play by the rules. They want our destruction, and if we allow them to control us, it's only a matter of time.
If we are going to be in any conflict, of any kind, with anyone, we better be in it to win. Otherwise we are destined to become an ex-world power.
Is President Bush a war criminal?
Not in America, he is our president, and he is acting in the interest of his country. Where I come from, that makes him a patriot.
All of the great Patriots in our history were war criminals to someone, usually the losers, but to us they were hero's.
Why has this changed?

Yes. The Geneva Conventions specifically prohibit torture, and water-boarding (as just one example) is included in the definition of torture. The United States signed onto the Geneva Conventions, and our Commander-in-Chief, to use the term loosely, is bound by such treaties. Also, the invasion of Iraq, a nation that did not threaten us, seems like a war crime to me, regardless of whether or not they had WMDs. But I would rather see GW Bush prosecuted for his crimes against the American people.

No. He hasn't done anything criminal. If he had, we would not have stood by and done nothing.
