Sexual preditor? Where did you get that from?
Haven't you watched the programmes on what the evidence for & against actually is.
I don't see how he got put away in the firstplace - yes he is a bit of an oddball, not too clever etc but that doesn't make him a murderer.

All that has happened is that his trial was deemed to be unsafe, because of the over reliance of the evidence of gun shot residue found in his coat, which is now being re examined.

Apparently there was overwhelming circumstanial evidence against him, so he could still be found guilty by a new judge and jury, not by a screaming mob.

Not particularly. However if he was convicted without real evidence then that is wrong !! The fact he is a bit mental and thinks he's Freddie Mercury doesn't make him a murderer does it ??

No not really, but he has been jailed for Murder, which is slightly more serious than thinking you are Freddie Mercury.

I am not too sure that he will get out to be honest.

He may be crazy, but that doesn't make him a murderer. I don't think he is that clever + there is a problem with the evidence. Also they need to know the truth, if it wasn't him, then there is a murderer on the loose.

If he didn't do it he should be freed, regardless of whether he is a bit odd. Don't forget if he is innocent then it means the real murderer still needs to be found and brought to justice.

You obviously think you know Barry George with the unfounded allegations you have made.

If he, or anybody else, is guilty of any crime let them be caught and punished.

If anybody is innocent, let them be free.

If we locked up idiots there'd be nobody left on the internet to talk to!

the media dont have much to report so they have come up with this one, perhaps we would be more interested if someone made a program on a less high profile murderer appealing

It amazes me the number of people who act like we've imprisoned Bambi's mother in prison for Dando's murder.

The man is s**m and probably did do it. It hasnt been a loss to our society having him off the streets for all this time.
