Blackadder III, with the Prince Regent.

(upstairs): Thump.
Baldric: What was that?
Edmund : If I was feeling particularly mallicious I would say it was the Prince trying to put on the same pair of trousers after a week
Cut to scene of the Prince regent with a pair of trousers on his head, one arm through a leg bumping into the wall.

Blackadder II (Elizabethan era). There was something stangely alluring about that codpiece, and Rowan Atkinson did suit that beard.

My favourite is the Elizabethan one or maybe the Regency one. I do love the Cat Custard from the WW2 series though and I love General Melchett - Baaa!

II, Third and Goes Forth were all excellent. But my favourite is II - Miranda Richardson as the Queen is one of the classic comedy characters.

My favourite one was the war one, not only because it was the funniest, but because it showed the total futility of it, and also the incompetence of the generals who tried to run it from miles behind the enemy lines.

Goes Forth had some educational bits to it as well. Despite being hilarious, we watched it in our history classes at school and it was funny. Well except for the ending of it, which was obviously horrible to watch. But it did justice to the experience in my opinion.
