My husband and I are going through a rough time because of the affair he had. His mistress is still living in the apartment that is in his name (he's at home now). We are trying to get through all of this.
He is away on business right now and we talked last night. I asked him what he is planning on doing with his apartment and how he feels about everything. He said that he hasn't had time to think about things because he is so busy at work. How can he not think about things? I wake up every morning and can't stop thinking all day. What does this mean?

What kind of business is he taking care of now? I do not see how you can trust him at all. If he is still paying the rent on an apartment he had he is NOT finished with his extra relationship. You have already been hurt by his affair, and you are still worried about him paying for the extra apartment. You have every right to question this and demand that he give up the apartment he used to accommodate his other woman. I do not think he is finished with his 'mistress'. check on it before you get your heart broken again/

he may have not had time to address the apt... but one phone call... could have gotten rid of the mistress. the apt is in his name..therefore she should have gotten her belongings and left by now. you are nicer than myself. leaving the woman there.. is not trying to get through this. i hope i am wrong..but i do not think he wants to get rid of the apt.. or the mistress. i am sure one nagging word..and he will use it... to go back to her. yet if you allow yourself to be a doormat... this will not be the last affair..and probably is not the first. you have a tough decision..but you must stand up for yourself.

He has no respect for you at all. He laid on top of another women and had sex, he told her he loved her when he was doing it. He probably told her how much better she was in bed then you and now you stay with him? He will do this again and again because you don't have enough self esteem to leave him. Imagine how many times he came home right after having sex with her, maybe you gave him oral when he just pulled it out of her. He thought to himself how stupid you are for not knowing. He sounds like a sick, sick man. Leave him and get on with your life.

Give it abit of time. Guys think on a totally different level to girls. Don't be afraid to openly communicate about anything and I'm sure that you will get better results that way. At the same time let him know that your there for him but also that if that trust is broken again then don't be afraid of what needs to be done.

It means: if you want to keep him, let him hide in his work for a while and do things at his speed. If you need him to act NOW, then you may have to think about finishing it altogether. Do one or the other, any middle ground will just upset both of you and end up finishing things anyway.

he is always on business and so he doesn't have time for you I guest, but do have time for the other, so my friend start having so serious talk to him about your relationship and he better decide where he will have some time to spend cause sound like some is missing some LOVE.
