It would be fair if both equally mattered, but i think that the latter is much superior; i mean, politics is completely based on it. also i see many examples around myself where people who really have something good to say don't possess the skills/confidence to say it well and therefore nobody listens to them, while many people with nothing very useful to say put it in a shiny package and it seems amazing to their listeners. it's all about showmanship, i'd say.

well one sometimes need the other but some one can pass on what you`ve said but with out the conviction of how you said it. Text messages are really bad for that, any way then how you say it matters most.

I used to believe that content is more important than form.... but experience of late shows that form gets more attention and importance and people have no time to find and dwell on the content. Even over here, the well stated answer mostly gets the better of the well thought out one.

What matters most is what to say--the message-- and how you transmit that--the vehicle--is obviously secondary.

Getting your message across requires tact and finess. Often what you say is not as important as how you say it.

Neither is of any value, relative or otherwise, without the other.
Hence I cannot ascribe any greater importance to either of them.

niether, it's what you do. i guess between the two i'd think it's how you say something..showing that you've thought about what you are about to say.

it's how do you say it..... c",)
a gentle way of saying it turns away wrath, but in a rude way stirs up anger.
