My friend who I care about just told me she is crying because she doesn't know how to use MS excel and the assessment is due tomorrow. To be honest I think its her fault a little since she left it to the last minute but what should I say to comfort her. I was thinking something like you feeling better now and I'll help you tomorrow if you still need help ? I just don't wanna say anything selfish because I've been told that I sometimes do....

No,thts not the right answer ..i think u better offer her some help to explain for her and in case u also dont have idea about excel just tell her that u gonna look for a friend who can help her .... try to look for someone who can help ..

you obviously care a great deal about your friend or you wouldnt be finding the way to say something to her without upsetting her. just text that tomorrow is still ahead of her, and she could try "cramming" for the rest of today and tonight. explain that you ARE willing to help, and she should text you if she finds herself stuck. you dont come across as selfish at all.

She is obviously not going to do ok with her assignment, and more than likely does not have any interest in spreadsheeting. I would expect that she does not have a future in number crunching.
So be positive, tell her she's got nice eyes and will do better in modelling or something that suits her and does not need excel.

I think you should tell her that you will help her this time, but the next time she's on her own. Explain that you are not always going to be there to bail her out, so if she needs help, to ask way before hand. Then stick by your wordsl.

ya just tell her that youll help her the next time you meet. but tell her that next time, she shouldnt be cramming anymore so things like this wont happen again.
