Orion Graphics is the name of my dead cat.

Orion the Mighty Hunter, was a stray, taken in when we moved into a house, about 25 years ago. Strange beast. We often posited that he was the original model for Berke Breathed's "Bill the Cat," right down to his scruffy fur and uneven eyes.

He knew his name and, could even say it. (except that it came out "riiiiaaaan! riiyyYYYAAAAANN!") but, he always came when he called. Of course, WE believe that he thought it meant "food."

He developed cancer in his lower jaw. Our vet said that he could remove the jaw, but the cat would not be able to feed itself. That is when we, sadly, decided to put Orion down. As a memorial, I decided to name my business after him.

My current website is a portfolio site, for clients only. However, I have an old, unused site, still up at:

None of the outside links or emails work, but some old samples of my work are still there.

My former freelance business name was Design Garden.

Flower gardening is one of my favorite hobbies so I took inspiration from the gardening concept -- my business is where designs/ideas are cultivated and brought to bloom. A little corny, I know, but that's how it is.
