There are two racers with carrying a 3-digit-number each. The difference between the two numbers is 378, and the sum of all the digits in one number is 12, neither racer is carrying a number with a "0" on it. What are the two numbers they are carrying?

There are many choices...

Here's a few:
921 and 543
912 and 534
831 and 453
822 and 444
813 and 435
741 and 363
etc.

There must be some constraints you forgot to mention?

831 and 453
I just took the highest number I could think of with all three parts adding up to 12 and then I subtracted 378 from that and I came up with 453 which also ads up to 12.

there are multiple answers
however all of the numbers on both side equal 12
921, 543 912,534 831,453 813,435 741,363 714,336 642,264 624,246 etc.....
