Yup, they should work in a motherboard that supports both of them. Do not confuse ddr2 system RAM with ddr3 graphics memory. They perform different functions, thus, need not be the same type.

The video card you choose isn't dependent on which RAM you choose, but you should make sure that both of those are compatible with the motherboard you will be putting them in.

as long as your mother board supports DDR2 ram and
has a PCIx16 slot then theres no reason why they wouldn't work
