How many girls have gone up in talent competitions, thinking they were the best because they could imitate Mariah Carey?
It's scary and sad. The number may be in the hundreds of millions. Rihanna was one.

I don't think anyone can beat Mariagh Carey. She does have a good range. It annoys me though how people try to compare themselves to her... Leona Lewis, Rihanna, etc. etc... get your own style people!!!

Dude. Come on. Mariah Cary might be a lot of bad things:
Bad Dresser. Bad Public Relations. Bad Videos. Bad Choices. And just plain Crazy.
But the girl can sing. NO ONE can imitate her. That's the problem.

?? Have you ever tried to do a Mariah Carey song at karaoke? It's pretty darn tough, let me tell you! She's got quite a range, and is pretty good at frills and ruffles.
She's not my favorite singer, but she does have my respect.
(-: I can imagine a lot of girls who *think* they can imitate Mariah Carey can give pretty excrutiating performances, though.
Barbra Streisand is another toughie to imitate.
