If I were rich I wouldnt flaunt my wealth but simply keep silent and not speak much about what I have. Personally I have no desire for wealth. Money changes people, which is sad and I would rather be happy and not have concerns about whether my possessions are going to be stolen because of wealth. If I were affluent, I guess I would be out there helping the not so affluent rather than live with an attitude as a lot of wealthy people do.

Sadly people would love you for your money but not all. There are some very genuine people out there! I guess its like keeping drink in your house and people will visit you for your drink. Remove it and the typical ones will disappear too. Lol!

Well if you have lots of money, dont flaunt it. We wise and dont let pride change you. As fast as you made the money, God can remove it. Always bear that in mind. I always tell people never to become complacent, because sooner or later the carpet gets ripped out under you. Just remain sober minded!

Good luck to you!

No, I'm not afraid; I know that happens. That's why I choose my friends, not the other way around. On two separate occasions, very, very attractive young women offered me the use of their bodies as a way to become my "friend". Didn't work.
The biggest challenge for a wealthy person is people who attempt to create a lawsuit. A guy whom I know quite well passed me on the highway and then jammed on his breaks, causing an accident, and then tried to sue me for his "injuries". A careful and thorough investigation by the police determined what really happened, and instead of successfully suing me for a bundle, he went to prison. His lawyer was in on it and was subsequently disbarred and also went to prison for conspiracy to defraud.
I receive between forty and a hundred solicitations by mail for donations ever day. Almost every solicitation comes from legitimate charitable organizations - but even rich people can't afford to send cash to every good cause, so they pick and choose which, if any, charitable organizations we do support. I have five that I send money to. The other solicitations go in the incenerator.
I occasionally have to chase away religious types who attempt to come to my door and shame me into giving them my money "For the Lord's work". I no longer tell them about my charity giving - they don't listen. All they're interested in is my money so they can ride around in a Cadillac pretending to spread the Word. I get annoyed with other door-to-door solicitors, but this last batch really ticks me off. I've gone so far as to have them arrested for trespass.
The really weird aspect of all this? The rumors of my vast wealth are untrue - my annual income is under six figures - and I can't get these people to believe it!

If I was rich, I'd probably be really paranoid about that. I can see why people are. It would be so hard to tell if someone loved you for your money or not.
Knowing me, I'd like, lie or trick them somehow just to see. Like tell them I was going to lose my money or that I did lose it. See if they still wanted to be with me. If they did, then I'd marry them or whatever. If they got angry, well... they should understand. I would, if I were them.

i do think it would definitely be a problem as so many people are money obsessed these days . i wouldn't mind having a try though at seeing who i would attract just so that i could give them a lecture and the brush off

Just dont tell anyone you're rich
but then again if you found someone who loves you and she found out your rich later on, she'll probably be real mad that you lied to her the whole time
