An emotional affair with no sexual contact involved, or a sexual affair with no emotions involved?

Unless one possesses a brain without a memory, emotions do come into play when it involves "just for that moment sex. I fact emotionless sex may be everlasting, due to the fact that you actually did it, whereas fantacsy will always be fantacsy.

I would really go for a Sexual Affair with no emotions involved ... Who wants to be burdened with "emotions" when you just wanted to experience and have fun!

Both are bad! For a start no affair ever works! If the persons involved are having an affair unbeknown to their spouse or spouses, they are doomed. One cannot build happiness at the expense of others. If you are having an affair, I suggest you get out of it now. Wheels turn. The very person cheating on his/her partner is more than likely going to cheat on you too. Its a matter of integrity. Affairs lack that. Its just downright selfish

emotional affairs are much worse, because they turn into full blown affairs that cause betrayal and heart ache much more than a one night stand. both hurt but the emotional affair is what will cause the divorce.

i think an emotional affair is worse although both are hurtful to any r'ship. the emotional affair is worse because one could argue that sex is just sex....that doesn't have to involve the heart. but i think it would very difficult knowing the person who said he would only love you has actually loved someone else too...at the same time.

sexual affair with no emotions. cause the only way that could happen is if its with a stranger and have you hear of AIDS. It would hurt me more for my husband to risk my life for just a simple pleasure.

To me they would be equally as wrong but hurt differently. If my husband had an emotional affair and fell in love with another woman I would be completely crushed, I would feel like our love meant nothing. If my husband slept with another woman I would also be crushed, but there might be some stupid reason for it, like he was drunk or something like that and it might be something we could get past, but him falling in love with another woman I could never get past. Both are horribly wrong though.

Both are awful, but emotional has to be worse as there are actual feelings involved rather than "just sex"
