Do you mean the derivative?
f(x) = kx^n
f'(x) = nkx^(n-1)

So f'(x) = -16x^7 + 56x^6 + 30x^5 +25x^4
f'(1) is easy to figure because 1 to any power is 1.

So f'(1) = -16 + 56 + 30 + 25
f'(1) = 95

f(x) = –2x^8+8x^7+5x^6+5x^5
f' (x) = -16 x^7 +56 x^6 +30 x^5 +25 x^4
f' (1) = -16 (1)^7 +56 (1)^6 + 30 (1)^5 + 25(1)^4
f" (1) = -16 + 56 + 30 + 25
f' (1) = 95
