i will be asking my doc when i go in for my pre-op, but i was just wondering if anyone else has requested this and what the doc said. i was supposed to take my placenta home after both of my children were born but the hospital told me i had to wait 7 days and come back for it, both times when i went back on the 7th day they had already disposed of it. i know it is kind of weird but i would like to have my uterus so that i can creamate it for religious reasons.

i think they would have to let you take it home. theylet people take tonsils & stuff if they want don't they? so why can't you take the uterus? i'd question the hospital though to be sure & to make sure you get all the info beforehand..................they probably sell the placenta to someone to make hair creme or something. like fight club when they make soap out of liposuction leftovers ew!!!!!!
