Now it is younger. It used to be good to look older when you were under 18 or 21, but the laws have changed and they are getting much more strict about making sure everybody is of age. Everything that requires age verification seems to be checked well.

To look the age you feel is probably best.
But most of my female friends want to look older if they're under 25, or younger if they're over 29.
My guy friends just want to keep the hair on their head and don't care about their age too much.
(OK, I'll admit that my co-worker thought I was 10 years younger than I am and that felt good.)

In the long run I would want to look younger so to get a head start I would want to look younger even now.

Your real age is determined by the way you act. In this civilization there are benefits for both the young and the old. Depending on what benefits you are looking to gain by being one or the other is the monstrousity that you incurr from the opposite of what is real.

Before 20 it is good to look older than your age......
After 20 its good to look younger than your age......

It depends on the situation. I worked for a doctor once and he looked like he was in his 30's but he was really in his 50's. Some of the patients truly did not trust his judgement and would ask me, "Is he really the doctor? How old is he?"

i do look younger and like it, but ppl don't take me too seriously sometimes based on my looks (without knowing my real age)... but i wouldn't trade that 4 the opposite... ;o)
