what are some things that scare you in movies?

for an english project i need some things from movies that would scare the audience or make suspense,

like when the character is looking in a mirror, you see something there, they turns around and theres nothing there...

Wax figures, dolls, and those Charlie McCarthy type puppets.

Plus, sharp loud sounds with scary ghosts crossing the screen, like on Sixth Sense, when the little boy went to the bathroom at night.

Innocence: like when the villain turns out to be a child or meek woman or mentally challenged. (the exorcist, Audition, The Ring, the Texas chainsaw massacre)
Supernatural movement:like a scene being edited to make the villain or "monsters" walk very choppy or "cut up." Also when they just kind of appear to float over the ground. (13 ghosts, Stir of Echoes, The original house on haunted hill)
Very slow torture scenes: that one explains itself (Audition, Saw)
And anything with zombies I think when it comes down to it everyone's afraid of being eaten alive by their neighbor.

u know silence followed by sudden noise/movement freaks me out.

here's a scene that I just thought of.......... u are walking in a abandoned house, its dark but moonlight spills through the cracked dirty windows. as you are walking, there is just the creaking of the woodent floor, u start breathing heavily, sweating, keep walking for the next 15 seconds, you take a turn leading to a hall.................AAAAAAaaaaahhhh.....................a ghost rushes at you at frightening pace, then just when you think you are a goner, it goes through ur body and disappearing down the hall.

freaky kids in movies really really freak me out like the little girl in the ring and the kid in the omen movies also things like exorcism movies where the ppl get possessed by the devil when they crawl around and stuff it freaks the crap out of me.
