I even have got here across particularly some products in partitions and ceilings with the aid of the years, which comprise left at the back of smoke detectors. i'm an electrician focusing on restore and redesign. The checklist of issues left at the back of is impressive and we've even got here across wallets from the form team. your place would not sound too previous considering the fact which you have difficult under pressure out smoke detectors. If the noise is coming from the ceiling, then there could be yet another smoke detector in the attic. We use a digital camera referred to as a snake to inspect partitions and ceilings to locate the place wires are till now drilling or slicing whilst we upload lighting fixtures furniture. Many electricians would have a variety of and would desire to take a glance for you. in case you have get entry to to the attic above this ceiling , this can be the 1st place to look. On a 2 tale we use the digital camera. maximum manufactures permit you recognize to swap your smoke detectors after 5 years. once you do, replace all of them. whilst they start to fail, they'll all bypass quite quickly. How previous are your smoke detectors?

An old watch? cell phone alarm? (actually chased one of these down for a cpl days before we figured out the kid had turned on an old cell phone that still had an alarm set on it). Could be the smoke detector but most of those are set to emit just one beep every couple of minutes when the batteries are low.

It is probably a watch. I have had it happen until I finally found a watch that I had not used in a while. I must have bumped it in a drawer and it started working again.

i had a similar experience. later i found out that it was that little pet toy thing, can't remember what it was called, but it was handheld game where you have to play, pet, feed your pet. It kept going off in the middle of night. The entire family went nuts and had to go through my lil bro's toy boxes to find it.
