Unless you live in a SW area where there is access to the materials for making adobe bricks, I don't see how. You can make adobe using soil, straw, a mixer and some forms, and lay them out yourself.
Of course, then you would have to use lanterns and a wood stove and an outhouse, because all the other stuff you will need will drive your prices way up per square foot.
Or, you could try to buy an ocean going container unit and have it shipped to your property, then modify it. Will cost more than what you say, but may cost $14 per cubic foot instead of square foot.

Well, if you are like me (do a lot of your own labor and buy second-hand or used lumber) then possibly.... but the costs of new materials (especially plumbing and electrical) have all been skyrocketing due to transport costs (higher fuel prices) and metals price increases. If you are really resourceful I can see it being done....check your local habitat for humanity branch, as they sell materials that were donated but they can not use. also check the clearance items at Lowe's and Home Depot and others (discontinued, blemished, etc.)
