Does anyone know what was decided during the Madeleine fund board meeting yesterday?

I believe that one of the issues on the table was the possible refunding of donations to people who are unhappy about the fund being spent on mortgage repayments and " living expenses". How much do you want to bet that these refunds never materialise. There is no way that team McCann will ever let any of their precious money be returned to the kind and honest people who donated it in good faith. They can hardly even bear to spend it on looking for Madeleine, (probably because they know where she is and that she will never be found) I just wonder what their comments on the matter will be and what spin Clarence McMitchell will put on it. Has anyone heard anything.

The reader comments in this text say all of it. What little public help the McCanns have left is evaporating till now their eyes. As for Esther McVey, she is merely behaving genuine to style. She exchange into between the 1st to bounce directly to the McCann bandwagon (she re-sat her A ranges on a similar crammer college as Kate McCann), and now she needs to bounce off it as a manner to maintain her political and media occupation.

you donated to a cause as did alot of other people, that was your mistake, if you thought that not a penny was goping to go to paying the mccanns expenses then thats very stupid

i bet you were one of the people supporting them when they were travelling around the world visiting the pope and such did you think that was going to be free?

i for one didn't donate anything as i would feel compelled to donate to every family that lost a child

I don't know what was decided but if money IS refunded I'd place bets on the antis saying the McCanns only gave it back because they couldn't be bothered spending it on the search for Madeleine.
And you lot don't even get paid to spin.

People who donated their money to the fund to find Madeleine, in good Faith.....would never want it returned.

Those who do want their money returned have obviously been swayed by the devious media's accusations against Madeleine's parents. That the Board see it fit to hold a Board Meeting to address this issue, is a good gesture.
Why shoot it down before a Resolution is passed?
Thats almost as bad as ACCUSING WITHOUT PROOF.

Someone on the Mirror board got a response from Esther McVey saying that refunds would definitely be discussed. Having said that I doubt anyone will see a penny. They will say that the terms of the fund were clearly set out and then use a legal loophole to get out of having to pay out any refunds.

I think the main thrust of the meeting was;

"Guys, we aren't p****ng this money away fast enough on PR men and search teams who keep having false sightings reporting to justify the huge expenses they are charging."

Interesting. No i havn`t heard anything but you can bet they will find a way to avoid payingit back. However the fact that they have discussed it wuld indicate that they have had alot of people demanding a refund, they certainly wouldn`t do it for half a dozen people.
