I would imagine it's pretty evenly balanced.
Don't forget the teenage boys trying to get served alcohol. And the guys trying to pull the younger girls.
Ultimately, It isn't something worth lying about (unless it's going to get you that lager :-)), because sooner or later the truth has got to be told. I never lie about my age, even though I look much younger than I am.
They say that age is just a number and to some extent that is accurate but tell that to my aching bones when I get out of bed in the morning, and when I meet that 30 something what happens if he's expecting to start a family?

Both genders lie about their age, older men love yonuger women so they lie about their age and women as usual do not like to be asked about their age.

~~~ I'm not sure YSD ,BUTT!! I'll tell you who's REALLY lying about her age......my Cousin! We "used to be" around the same age, now all of a sudden she's like fifteen years younger than me. I think she's lost her mind again. I know it blows my mind when-ever I see her age on her different sites. When I try that same stunt a little message pops up and admonishes me for lying. So I jEst leave it blank. Anyway,age is only a number ,it's how mature you are that really matters. My philosophy is..."Don't ask ,don't tell." ~~~

good question.....i feel both genders lie about their age....why we do it....some people do it deliberately...... some do it because they wont to be something they are not,a fantasy.......young people do it to get into night club and to obtain alcohol....older man and women do it specially single ones,I'm not quiet sure why on this one,because Ive done it before,and i don't know why,I'm older enough to know that age is just a number,and honesty is something i don't take lightly,so why,maybe cos i wonted to be love that bad,beats me..... while others get put on the spot and before they know it, a lie has taken place.......there are lot of reasons why one lies about ones age...depends on the situation i guess.

Men... coz they need to when they're chatting up young looing hot gurlz.
Women actually try not to lie but asks for a complement by not telling and asking the person to guess, most of the time they get a flattering response. If not, then they just kepe it to themself.

I think ya'll are wrong. I think men do. They want to appear younger for younger women. I never lie about my age and I don't know one woman that does.

Women , cuz they think that if they say they r too old then the guys they like wont like them but for guys it doesn't matter
