i was on a mission to prove how over-zealous we have become with this cleanliness thing.
and guess what, i didn't die or even get sick or 'infectious' from it.
oh ok, i did wipe up "down there" and aired out alot, as well as got some sunshine, drank lots of water, and ate a healthy vegan diet.
i smelt a bit stale though at first, it kind of turned to a musky smell, more like a ferret and not bad at all... *shrugs* but we aren't made to smell like "Shower Fresh" or "Baby Powder" those are made up smells. human smells are far more interesting, we're just trained to interpret them as "STINKY" and not pleasant or arousing.

Many weeks, acclimating at base camps for ascents like Denali and Foraker. Gotta do the sponge bath thing, feels great after being major skanky.

well, most recently, two days. the water was out in the house. . .as was everything else. (power, ect)
about a year ago? a week, i spent it backpacking with a group from my school. at the end of the trip, after being all sweaty and dusty, we decided to go to wendys to treat ourselves out....well, anyway, the one advisor had hand wipes in her car, and we washed off as much as we could with them, without being indecent. we still smelled awful and got stares from the other patrons there.

Probably 2 days when camping. We did get a little ripe! That is the only time.

To be honest prob 1/2 a day .. I love showers lol they wake me up lol .. I have 2 a day .. ;-)

week - following the dead, did a week again hitchhiking around the country. and just did 4 days because I didn't have to work.

About 3 days when I went camping and it was "real" camping. No bathroom, no nothing. I totally roughed it.

about 6 weeks when i broke my leg, and it didn't set correctly and they had to go back in and redo it. took sponge baths and stayed as clean as possible, but showers were out.
